River Bend Pony Club, founded in 1972 and celebrating our 50th anniversary, has an active membership of over 20 young horse enthusiasts. Based in Fairfax County, Virginia, River Bend Pony Club is a member of the Virginia Region Pony Clubs and the United States Pony Clubs (USPC), Inc. USPC is an educational organization for youth that teaches riding, mounted sports, and the care of horses and ponies, thereby developing responsibility, sportsmanship, moral judgment, leadership and self-confidence. RBPC holds events at a variety of locations in Fairfax County, including Frying Pan Farm Park in Herndon, Laurel Hill Equestrian Center in Lorton, and Turner Farm in Great Falls.
